We are seeking an experienced and talented PIM Developer to design, implement, and manage the PIM (Product Information Management) system for Bunzl Distribution. The PIM Developer will be part of the eCommerce team and work closely with business and product owners to define, plan and execute our Product Information Management roadmap. The PIM Developer will play a crucial role in shaping our product information strategy and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our product data.

A successful candidate will excel in cross-functional collaboration and bring deep expertise in Product Information Management and its integration with other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, Ecommerce, Analytics, etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement customizations and extensions within the inRiver PIM platform to meet our organization's specific requirements.
• Design and implement data integrations between PIM and other enterprise systems, such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), and Ecommerce platforms.
• Customize and configure the PIM platform, including workflows, validation rules, business rules, and user interfaces, to align with our business processes.
• Develop and maintain data import and export processes, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of product data across multiple channels.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of PIM system solutions, addressing any issues or bugs that arise.
• Stay up to date with the latest features, updates, and best practices related to the PIM platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to ensure seamless integration of PIM within our software ecosystem.

 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a PIM Developer or a similar role (experience with inRiver is a plus).
• 2+ years of experience in programming languages such as C#, .NET, or JavaScript.
• 2+ years of experience with web development frameworks, such as AngularJS or React, for building user interfaces within the PIM.
• Previous experience with product information management (PIM) software or product databases a plus (inRiver, Salsify, Akeneo, etc.)
• Experience in data modeling, taxonomy, and data governance principles within the context of inRiver.
• Experience with data integration between PIM and other enterprise systems, using APIs, web services, or middleware.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to design and develop complex solutions within the PIM environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Agile development methodologies and version control systems.
• Ecommerce platforms and the integration of PIM systems with Ecommerce solutions.
