We are looking for a Production Associate at our Pittsfield, New Hampshire plant to support our CARES Department. The Production Associate is responsible for inspection and evaluation of turnout gear and will perform cleaning and prepare items for shipping when completed. Prospective candidates will need to have availability to work 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM on 1st Shift.  This position reports to the Cares Supervisor. Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving garments for laundering (including possible pretreatment and soak tank use)
  • Inspection, review, and evaluation of turnout gear
  • Prepping garments for shipping – to include inspection and bagging
  • Follows job duties by relying on established policies 
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 

  • Computer skills:  Intermediate skills with Microsoft 365; ability to navigate order system and access basic data
  • Easily able to adapt to new software
  • Basic understanding of NFPA 1851 (training provided)
  • Written and verbal skills to clearly and accurately convey basic information
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positively approaches change or new situations

Education Required:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Experience Required:

  • 1 year of manufacturing experience
