You will be responsible for leading the maintenance and calibration team in a hands-on way, to support day-to-day activities, and to achieve yearly objectives related to quality system compliance, equipment uptime, on-time tool/equipment calibrations and budget adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Production / Testing / Calibration equipment (Maintenance) team to achieve yearly improvement goals in the areas of: Unplanned machine downtime, reduced maintenance expenses, and percentage of equipment with formal preventive maintenance programs in place

  • Achieve yearly improvements in Employee Engagement scores for area of responsibility through individual and team focused support and development

  • Manage and sustain the utilization of a computerized maintenance management system to manage and track maintenance and calibration tasks as well as equipment downtime, in order to support equipment upgrades &/or new purchases

  • Generate detailed written procedures (Standard Work with Visual Management) and specifications for calibration, maintenance, and equipment qualifications (supporting the IQ/OQ/PQ process and subsequent compliance)

Qualifications

  • High School diploma

  • 3+ years of experience as a lead and maintenance technician

  • Ability to mechanically and electrically troubleshoot issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Technology degree

  • Total Productive Maintenance/Manufacturing (TPM) management experience including the utilization of maintenance/calibration management software

  • Prior experience with utilizing lean methodology and tools, such as variation reduction and standard work

  • Work in a Medical or other highly regulated environment

Compensation

  • The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $110,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

  • This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
