Position Objective

Continually monitor MPS & MRP to maintain an executable schedule through collaboration with supervisors and other members of the Production Control team.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Ensures proper production control planning and scheduling to meet forecasts with direction from manager. 
2. Planning, scheduling, and prioritization of work through the factory to meet production start/finish fates and customer ship requirements.
3. Supports lean enterprise activities and continuous improvement efforts.
4. Provides information to quality for customer requirements pertaining to traceability.
5. Perform system transactions as needed, i.e. when employees are out, RM type transactions, or scrap transactions.
6. Supports manufacturing floor with releasing orders to production and splitting production lots.
7. Ensures the latest drawing revisions are being used in the manufacturing process.
8. General “clean up” of planned work orders in MRP system as directed by management staff.

Qualifications

1. One year of experience in purchasing and/or inventory control in a manufacturing environment
2. Experienced Microsoft Office suite user – most specifically Excel
3. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
4. Detail oriented with some experience with creating or managing schedules.
5. Due to ITAR Regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
