Title:

Program Integrator - TS/SCI

KBR is seeking an experienced Program Integrator (PI)/Systems Engineer (SE) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located on-site in a government customer facility at Schriever SFB, CO.

Support the NRO Operations Squadron (NOPS) Operations and Launch Support (NOALS) program as a SE/PI integrating new and existing satellite customers into various ground systems. Provide technical expertise to a broad array of engineering, integration, and strategic initiatives. Develop and illustrate a system evolution map that is fully integrated with advanced plans and larger evolution. Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Perform various levels of total system analyses which may include: concept, design, development, test, installation, operation, maintenance, disposal and evolution. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions acknowledging technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies which may include translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Identify areas of concern, issues, inefficiencies, and other non-value-added activities; as well as provide recommended solutions, using Six Sigma principles as appropriate. Support various operations status, engineering review, and problem boards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
  • Level 4: 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
  • This position requires an active TS/SCI Clearance with an adjudicated polygraph
  • Must have knowledge and experience with satellite command & control theories and methodologies
  • Must have knowledge and experience with RF methodologies and signal processing
  • Must be capable of evaluating established and emerging technologies for applicability to architectural initiatives
  • Must have experience in executing the project life cycle of requirements analysis, design, hardware and/or software development, integration, test, and sustainment
  • Must have experience with project management and requirements analysis and requirements management
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to create and follow standard processes and clearly document results
  • Motivated individual who has demonstrated initiative and accountability when working independently
  • Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interface effectively with users, customers, management, and other engineering personnel

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience in systems engineering methodology and related engineering processes
  • Knowledge of communications (network and RF) topologies, including SGLS, K and X band design
  • Understanding of Satellite C2 architectures and related C2 systems
  • Knowledge in both the Satellite Control Network (SCN) and NRO systems and topology
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, demonstrated by frequent and successful application of technical standards, theories, concepts, and techniques
  • Experience working in direct support of customers

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Basic Compensation: $ 83,300.00 - 125,100.00 USD Annual

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
