Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management – ability to plan, organize, and monitor projects from initiation to closing stages to drive strategic initiatives, as well as, create and maintain project plans.
  • Project reporting – status updates, meeting minutes, action tracking, reporting on project health
  • Stakeholder engagement and Change Management – developing and executing on stakeholder engagement plans, communications, and training plans.
  • Financial Management – ability to oversee and report on project financial health
  • Risk Management – assess project risks and provide mitigation strategies
  • Incorporate business and stakeholder feedback to suggest modifications to project plan
  • Development of sustainable and quantifiable business process improvements
  • Monitor project health and perform control activities
  • Adaptability and flexibility in taking on operations support duties as needed by operations
  • Assist with project closing activities including leading sessions on lessons learned

Minimum experience:

  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Experience in executing PMBOK best practices and working within a PMO
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with good executive presence

Additional Knowledge and Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of PMBOK, Six Sigma or other Project Management Disciplines
  • Familiarity with Project Management Software (i.e. Smartsheet)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office tools including Visio
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative personality and team player
  • Knowledge of waterfall and agile project management methodologies
  • Emotional intelligence with influencing and negotiating skills
  • Excellent organization, time management and prioritization skills

Education

  • PMP Certification Preferred
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position
$71,200 - $118,600
