LM Space seeks a mid-career Project Engineer/ Control Account Manager (CAM) to join our mission supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. As our part of the MGSE program management team, the candidate will perform Control Account duties for all assigned control accounts within the SI&C organization. This will include leading, budgeting, and managing the cost/schedule/technical performance for each assigned Control Account (CA) on multiple contract line-item numbers (CLINs)..
Summary of Key Duties: In this role, you will…
• Effectively manage control account performance, elevate concerns and issues to the MGSE leadership, Project Engineers as well as Program management including other impacted control account managers
• Work with partnering organizations (E&T, Supply Chain, PMP, Quality, I&T, Shipping/Receiving etc.) to ensure all processes are appropriately followed and implemented to ensure smooth product flow throughout the lifecycle
• Identify risks and opportunities to the program Risk & Opportunity Control Board and implement approved mitigation plans
• Conduct closed-loop corrective action to include thorough variance analysis, monitoring of cost/schedule mitigation activities, and corrective action adjustment
• Provide timely and accurate insight to key program impacts or opportunities to the Senior Manager, the Functional Managers and Project Engineers.
• Address any 2nd level questions related to parts procurement status, headcount challenges, resource constraints, or safety and quality issues
• Complete all Value Management assigned duties to include work authorization requests, estimate at complete review, schedule status, variance reporting, and comprehensive estimates at complete

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education• Project engineering experience or relevant experience (cost accounting, finance, etc)
• Knowledge of program lifecycle and system integration and how early milestones may drive future costs
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance to support this government contract
• Candidate must have the ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules.
• This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, interfacing with internal/external customers, and experience in project management (i.e. reporting technical and schedule status)
Desired skills
• Previous Control Account Manager (CAM) or lead experience• Previous Proposal, Basis of Estimate (BOE), & Negotiations experience
• Experience with high level presentations and briefings (i.e. including data analysis, forecasting/communicating sales)
• Risk and Opportunity Management experience
• General technical knowledge of Mechanical Ground Support Equipment
• Demonstrated experience in driving complex issues or problems to successful closure

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Security Clearance Information

Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $82,200 - $157,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $94,500 - $178,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
