Location:Green River, WY



Key Responsibilities:




  • Management and coordination of project development and execution, including Front End Engineering and Design (FEED), Execution, Construction, Start-Up and Commissioning

  • Determination of project development and execution strategies such as contracting plan, material management plan and integrated project schedule

  • Project team management and development of team members (i.e. maintenance, operations, safety); providing mentorship where possible

  • Utilization of the capital deployment process for project development and execution

  • Manage and forecast project costs

  • Ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements, plant engineering standards and equipment standards

  • Compliance with Process safety, ergonomics, MSHA, ISO, environmental agencies, applicable codes and regulatory agencies including but not limited to NFPA-NEC, Building Codes

  • Ensure projects comply with Corporate Operating Standards (COS), understanding of corporate ethics (i.e., SOX compliance)

  • Departmental record keeping and databases

  • Support activities as the subject matter expert (SME), during projects and in discipline specific activities (i.e. Electrical Energized Work Permits)



Activities:




  • Management and coordination of project development and execution including development of AFEs and evaluation of project’s economics

  • Management of change (MOC), Hazop, What If Analysis

  • Assist in performing a root cause analysis



  • Determination of project development and execution strategies such as contracting plan, material management plan and integrated project schedule

  • Utilization of the capital deployment process for project development and execution

  • Manage and forecast project costs

  • Participate in development and administration of capital plan

  • Project management, including cost accountability

  • Prepares design, drawings & specification documents

  • Prepares bid/request documents, addendums & change orders for procurement phase

  • Direct interface with discipline engineers

  • Coordinate and ensure projects comply with regulatory and code requirements

  • Project closure and accounting interface

  • Ensure projects comply with Corporate Operating Standards

  • Support project systems

  • Support ISO efforts

  • Support operations within discipline, during projects and in start-up and commission

  • Provide as SME to other members of the projects team

  • Other duties as assigned



Skill, Capability, and Educational Requirements:




  • B.S. Degree in Engineering required; B.S in Electrical Engineering preferred

  • Demonstrated electrical knowledge/experience required

  • 4 or more years of experience in Project Management required

  • Engineer in training certificate or professional engineering license, desired, but not required.

  • PMP Certification desired, but not required

  • Diversified candidates with knowledge in LV to 33.4kV, Instrumentation and Controls are desired.


Final determination on pay grade will be made holistically consistent with the skills matrix and considering the candidates education, experience, past performance, demonstrated leadership and influence.
