We are currently adding new Punch Press Set Up for all our growing New Hope location on 2nd and Wknd shift. We offer flexible scheduling with either 3, 4 or 5-day work weeks! Responsibilities

  • Complex set ups with little or no defects.
  • Ability to manage multiple machines to include automatic machines.
  • Knowledge of bend allowances.
  • Complex set ups with little supervision.
  • Determines layout of work to be done.
  • Inspects work pieces for conformance to specifications and adjusts machine to correct errors.
  • Knowledge of using proper punch and die clearances according to material type and thickness.
  • Cleans, lubricates and has ability to do maintenance on machines.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy.
  • Ability to manage secondary operations.
  • Assembles, installs, and aligns dies in press according to specifications.
  • Positions work piece against fixtures or stops on machine bed or on die.
  • Starts press and observes operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.
  • Operates forklifts.
  • Ability to operate a single stage Punch Press.
  • Read tape measures, dial calipers and Vernier calipers.
  • Read blueprints and do a flat layout from them.
  • Ability to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years varied manufacturing experience preferred
  • Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the mission
  • Flexible and able to multi-task; can work with an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems
  • Bend and lift, loading and unloading work pieces on to pallets, and move from one work station to another, alternately sitting and standing
  • Lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
  • Perform repetitive work more than 10 hours per day, including weekends.
  • Read fine print and distinguish colors.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
