SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Basic Lab Hygiene
• Prefer college experience in analytical/manufacturing and/or semiconductor field
• Basic computer skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learns to perform routine production tests according to established procedures under normal supervision
• Has a basic understanding of quality control concepts and use of SPC. This includes daily monitoring of assigned tools/instruments.
• Maintain equipment assigned including PM’s and regular calibration
• Keep and organize test samples in the proper storage conditions.
• Assist in the troubleshooting of malfunctioning assigned tools/instruments
• Review and update existing procedures affecting assigned test instrument
• Work on other assignments that are semi-routine in nature with general instructions to support of production and customer-related issues
• Enter data in designated database systems (QC Auto, QC Analytical, JMP files, etc) as required. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
• Make suggestions to management for improving this position, or improving work processes.
• Work safely by observing safety rules, policies and procedures. Identify and report unsafe conditions to supervisor concerned
