JOB SUMMARY:
The Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout Ohio Machinery. Responsible for the full lifecycle recruiting on select roles; understanding the successful candidate profile and determining recruiting strategy and timeline to deliver a strong candidate slate for each requisition. Publicize job postings via the company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and lead job boards to generate inbound applicants. Source and screen active candidates from the internal and external applicant tracking system and employee referrals, and active recruiting efforts including networking, cold calling, social media, industry-specific websites, associations, blogs, and communities of interest. This will be achieved through the development of recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent. The Recruiter is also responsible for creating new and maintaining existing relationships and partnerships with schools, and organizations.
An understanding of Ohio employment laws, policies, practices, and trends is needed. Prior experience working with an applicant tracking system and equipment distribution industry knowledge. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Must have full-cycle recruiting knowledge including sourcing, interviewing, and presenting top candidates.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Marketing
Five years of relevant industry experience with full-lifecycle recruiting and talent sourcing experience are required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and solid knowledge of sourcing methods and best-recruiting practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office. Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record. Travel 30%
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods. To occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight, to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including the use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
