Kimberly-Clark’s Aurora Program is a significant upgrade that will move our legacy SAP systems to the SAP S/4 platform, providing connected capabilities for the functions as well as foster a business transformation with re-engineered end-to-end processes (standardization). Business functions in scope include Supply Chain, Finance, Global Business Services and Digital Technology Solutions. Aurora will entail a multi-year financial (capex, opex) and talent investment. Strong risk management and governance will be critical for this program, focusing on project and change management. The Aurora PMO Program Manager (Technology) role will be asked to lead, leveraging business, process, technology and people transformational knowledge and capabilities.
Role Accountabilities:
  • This position takes work direction from the Aurora PMO Manager, Enablement and Deployment, working closely with the Global Aurora Core Team, and supports business and functional leaders to develop and implement actions aligned with all Kimberly-Clark business strategies:
  • Lead and manage project team consisting of DTS, Business, Partner and PMO resources - deploying them effectively to support/enable successful program delivery
  • Develop best practices, scalable mechanisms and repeatable processes on all aspects of the transformation: planning, blueprinting, design and build/deploy phases of the program
  • Program tracking and common project management principles (agile development and project management methods, e.g. SCRUM); mapping resources against objectives, track dependencies and risks, assess impact of change across interdependent workstreams and projects
  • Ensure proper communication and change management processes are adopted for all major change initiatives, identifying other potential priorities and/or interdependencies
  • Support Aurora PMO Leadership managing key stakeholder relationships & expectations across the DTS and Business leaders by maintaining effective communication cadence and driving timely & effective escalation & resolution of risks and issues
  • Provide recommendations, advice/counsel and support to technical leadership and/or Aurora leadership teams on project-related matters (direct & indirect) as well as project team members as required
Responsibilities include – (not inclusive of all)
  • Help the team coordinate, as well as provide guardrails and structure, for the Solution Confirmation / Template Design Workshops
  • Drive the development of the comprehensive cutover plan for the initiatives
  • Manage and support the technology enabling capabilities as applicable
  • Ensure team, process, and project readiness
  • Occasional travel may be required
Must have skills:
  • Experience of driving complex cloud/Infrastructure, SAP platform & Fiori projects globally as a technology program manager
  • Adequate knowledge of Azure cloud landscape (Virtual machines, Load balancers, Virtual network, Availability Zones, Infrastructure as a code etc.) at least at a high level
  • High level technical acumen of S4 SAP platform/Basis (SAP environments set up & management etc.) & Fiori (UI, UX, standard Fiori apps, custom Fiori apps etc.) landscapes
  • Good understanding of end-to-end environments build process & framework (who, what, when, and how)
  • Basic understanding of the technology architectures & blueprints while partnering with enterprise architects, solution architects and technical SME’s
  • Relevant technical & project management industry leading certifications are highly desirable such as PMP, PGMP, SAP Project Manager etc.
Requirements/Functional/Technical skills:
  • Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science or Related Field.

  • Strong organizational design skills
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences.
  • Strong ability to apply internal controls and ethical practices
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Experience of leading complex projects locally, regionally, and globally
  • Good understanding of K-C organization & strategy, service delivery footprint and signature capabilities
  • Good network across global/regional leadership teams and functional leadership teams
  • Experience in managing stakeholders across functions and locations
  • Experience in managing multi-functional operations and/or large-scale projects
  • Understanding of applicable methodologies and program/project management capabilities
