Position Description:

The Sales Force Excellence Advisor is responsible for delivering actionable insights and recommendations that address critical sales force excellence questions and decisions relating to field representation and customer engagement planning and execution. The role includes analytical activities including support on the implementation and post implementation of all SFE, SFO and Omnichannel projects in which US Pet Health is expected to adopt and implement to deliver top-line growth/margin expansion through innovation and optimization of the field force teams.

Functions, Duties, Tasks:

  • Create and foster partnerships with key stakeholders to identify business critical issues and challenges on sales force excellence (SFE), supporting the implementation of any SFE, SFO and omnichannel projects.

  • Support sales force structure modelling and sizing activities.

  • Provide guidelines and support on the implementation of any customer and contact prioritization and targeting, customer cycle and brand cycle planning, omnichannel and digital initiatives.

  • Provide visibility, awareness, and drive adoption through sales force excellence, customer engagement, omnichannel, as needed.

  • Work collaboratively between cross-functional teams to provide directions on representative engagement KPIs, data analytics and monitoring to support the achievement of specific objectives.

  • Facilitate or ensure continuous and consistent testing, training, and optimization of SFE and CRM initiatives.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting, monitoring and analysis of all relevant sales data, and sales team performance data (inputs and outputs) in line with SFE.

  • Working with the USPH business to ensure targets are achieved that are aligned with SFE team strategy.

  • Ensure CRM customer data storage and utilization are in compliance.

  • Develop continuing SFE improvement education for new and tenured employees.

  • Support the implementation of SFE strategies with effective CRM system/dashboard reporting and internal customer support enabling accountability and effective execution.

  • Coordinate and drive yearly SFE validation process in alignment with the Global strategic direction.

  • Actively engage and be a contributor in the Global CELT core team’s efforts and US Site Ops, continuously improving and raising the bar on SFE/customer engagement strategic initiatives deployment.

Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):

  • Business Degree or related experience

  • 3 – 5 years experience in sales execution, sales force effectiveness, commercial excellence, or marketing in animal health industry.

  • Experience in working with Veeva, Salesforce.com or Customer Relations Management (CRM) systems.

  • Experience in working with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau.

  • Relevant business acumen in marketing, sales, commercial excellence, omnichannel and sales force effectiveness

Preferred skills experience and education

  • Demonstrate ability to synthesize information to develop recommendations.

  • Effective persuasion and influencing skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time with different complexities. Demonstrate advanced thinking capability and strong analytical/problem-solving skills to anticipate and recognize problems, diagnose root causes and work with functional leadership to influence corrective actions.

  • Demonstrate commitment to company values with a high level of demonstrated collaboration, professionalism, integrity and trust.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint is an advantage.

Location & expected job coverage Percentage:

  • Travel: Ability to travel to meet business needs, 10%

  • Location: Greenfield, Indiana
