PRIMARY FUNCTION

Troy 7, Inc. is seeking an Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). In this position, the selected candidate will support the MDA/DT (Test Directorate) at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville Alabama.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Serve as the Lead Link Margin Analyst, overseeing all aspects of link margin analysis efforts for Missile Defense Agency (DTDA)
  • Review analysis results and briefings/presentations for MDA meetings
  • Participate in MDA Test Readiness, Pre- and Post-Test Analysis Reviews, providing analysis, feedback, and recommendations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior link margin analysts
  • Provide bi-monthly link margin analysis status updates
  • Oversee updates to the link margin process training documentation
  • Provide Link Margin Analysis Overview briefing to new DTDA employees
  • Prepare technical reports and/or briefings

None

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

REQUIRED:

  • Experience with link margin analysis
  • Experience with test program planning and test execution
  • Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Experience working independently and/or leading sub-teams, applying engineering rigor to analyze and resolve problems
  • Skilled in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point

DESIRED:

  • Experience with missiles, targets, or missile defense systems
  • Experience with telemetry analysis
  • Matlab and Python experience
  • Working knowledge of Systems Tool Kit (STK) program
  • Familiarity with Range Safety functions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in STEM field is required
  • Active Secret clearance is required
  • 7+ years working on missile defense-related or other DoD program/projects
