Haemonetics is seeking an experienced healthcare compliance professional to help manage its Global Compliance program operations and transparency reporting processes, and continue to foster a culture of compliance consistent with the Company’s Code of Conduct and high ethical standards. The Senior Manager, Global Compliance Operations, Transparency and Communications will report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer and support the Global Compliance program to achieve its strategic objectives and mitigate risk.
Responsibilities:
Oversee Global Compliance program processes and procedures to ensure compliance with Company policies, regulatory requirements, industry guidance (e.g., AdvaMed Code of Ethics, MedTech Code of Ethics), and Haemonetics’ high ethical standards, globally.
Develop and implement annual Global Compliance transparency and communication plans; track compliance with global transparency requirements to ensure data collected is complete and accurate and processes are tailored to meet deadlines and regulatory changes; manage project teams and work with other corporate functions (e.g., regional legal/compliance teams, Global Communications, Marketing, Finance and external vendors) to ensure timely and effective execution of annual plans.
Advise business leaders and team members on the application of Global Compliance policies and SOPs to business initiatives and escalate compliance questions to the Chief Compliance Officer when appropriate.
Train internal stakeholders on Global Compliance policies and processes.
Manage Global Compliance department third party/vendor relationships and related budgets; work with corporate counsel to review, revise and negotiate related procurement agreements.
Act as a project manager on various continuous improvement projects related to the Global Compliance program, including ensuring clarity of purpose, clear deliverables, and cross-functional engagement.
Provide day to day oversight of the EthicsPoint database and employee hotline, including creating reports and analysis for presentation to stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
7-10 years’ work experience, preferably within a legal/compliance department of a medical device, pharmaceutical or other healthcare-related industry.
Familiar with the Advamed Code of Ethics, Medtech Code of Ethics, U.S. Anti-Kickback Statute, U.S. Open Payments Act, and global anti-bribery/anti-corruption laws a plus
Strong organizational, time management and project management skills.
Experience with EthicsPoint, Oracle, MediSpend or MedPro tools a plus
Successful project management experience working cross-functionally within multiple project teams with various deliverables and deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience providing training on policies and procedures a plus
Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion when working on confidential/sensitive projects and issues
Demonstrated commitment to working with the highest level of integrity and ethics.
