The Omnichannel Transformation team’s goal is to maximize advertiser investments in marketing and advertising by operationalizing all consumer touchpoints to form a holistic, 1W (One Walmart) omnichannel solution to reach our customers across all of our channels. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-visibility team with a big impact on our enterprise business across retail and Walmart Connect.
Responsibilities
Contributes to the development, incubation and execution of approved corporate strategic projects and new business opportunities across functions, divisions and in-country operations by coordinating or influencing cross-functional teams through long-term implementations until the project is ready to be transferred to the business; creating and managing budgets; negotiating contracts; managing supplier and partner relationships; providing regular communication to senior leadership on the progress and priorities for implementation; and advocating the project.
Contributes to the mergers and acquisition (M&A) process by presenting recommendations to senior leadership team; presenting business cases; ensuring decision-making meets key milestones; executing due diligence and integration; communicating and influencing cross-functional teams through the process and determining prioritization and resources; evaluating M&A opportunities; leading integration efforts across broad cross functional teams internally and externally; and performing correction of errors (COEs) to take learnings from each new process to the next.
Ensures implementation of Walmart Global eCommerce strategy by identifying current and future eCommerce trends; analyzing global eCommerce trends and develops points of views and recommendations on strategic direction for division or department; building and maintaining strong relationships with industry leaders, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, investment bankers, and consultants; and identifying opportunities to partner with internal team members to improve business results and working relationships.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
Preferred Experience
4+ years of merchandising, project management, or change management
3 years of management experience working with multiple business functions
3 years’ experience using project management or campaign trafficking tools (Workfront, Microsoft Teams, JIRA)
MBA preferred but not required
