Senior Offensive Security Engineer, GPU Cloud Platform

The NVIDIA GPU Cloud Platform team is actively in search of a seasoned and highly skilled senior offensive security engineer who will assume a pivotal role in bolstering the security of our innovative AI infrastructure and cloud platforms. In this role, you will engage in close collaboration with niche multi-functional teams, applying your expertise to reinforce our security posture by simulating sophisticated cyberattacks, evaluating the efficacy of security measures, and identifying vulnerabilities along with their respective remediation strategies.
What you’ll be doing:
Penetration Testing: Perform targeted penetration tests on various systems, cloud, networks, and applications to uncover security weaknesses.
Adversarial Simulation: Mimic the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by real-world threat actors to test our incident response capabilities and detection systems.
Vulnerability Research: Know the latest with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors, and apply this knowledge to improve our defenses.
Exploitation and Post-Exploitation: Actively exploit vulnerabilities, intensify privileges, and pivot within the network to assess the depth of a potential breach.
Reporting: Create detailed reports summarizing findings, potential risks, and recommendations for remediation.
Collaboration: Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including security architects, incident responders, and SREs, to enhance security posture and incident response strategies.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of testing activities, findings, and methodologies used.
What we need to see:
BS or MS degree (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of experience in the security industry.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), or other relevant certifications preferred.
Proven experience in offensive security, red teaming, penetration testing, or ethical hacking.
Deep knowledge of common security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.).
Proficiency in penetration testing tools and frameworks such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, etc.
Strong understanding of operating systems, networking protocols, and cybersecurity concepts.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to simulate real-world attack scenarios.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical findings to non-technical partners.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Published CVEs for RCE/LPE attacks
Penetration testing experience with Kubernetes, Data Center and CSPs (AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP)
Knowledge of Confidential Computing technologies
Exposure to emerging AI/ML-specific threats and their mitigations

The base salary range is $176,000 - $333,500. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
