SUMMARY

Execute division product quality improvement initiatives and performance compliance requirements. Define and manage methods of measuring product quality. Improve process quality using data collected from the operations and apply problem solving techniques. Plans, directs, and coordinates quality activities to ensure that goals or objectives of product performance are accomplished by performing the following duties personally or through a designee. This role must be based where a Fresh Foods North America (NA) location is located (Decatur, IN, Lawrenceville, GA, Bloomfield, NY, Dallas, TX, Dublin, VA, or Chandler, AZ).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Lead Six Sigma continuous improvement programs.

2. Interface with operations, sales and customers to acquire information and resolve issues.

3. Assist with maintaining and improvement of Safe Quality Food (SQF) management system. Audit established practices to ensure compliance.

4. Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.

5. Lead root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for quality related concerns.

6. Assist with performing capability studies, data analysis, part testing and dimensional layouts and report findings as needed. Oversee the PPAP process.

7. In charge of assigned projects and trials through the process testing and report results.

8. Participate in managing incoming material quality testing. Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventative actions.

9. Assist with creating and maintaining company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.

10. May be assigned responsible for training programs including but not limited to SQF, Six Sigma, SOP’s and Work Instructions.

11. Performs other related duties and tasks as needed
