YOU

As a Reporting Developer, you will work on a collaborative team developing solutions for new and existing applications. This position requires the ability to write and analyze complex queries. Must be well-versed in MS SQL and have experience with report writing tools like SSRS and Jaspersoft.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)

Create, maintain and enhance existing reports. (80%)

Participate in development planning and review meetings, design discussions, and code reviews. (20%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, preferably in business, IT, computer science, engineering or another technology-focused field, or equivalent experience required.
  • 7+ years developing complex queries including stored procedures using MS SQL Server
  • 5+ years experience with report design tools like SSRS and/or Jaspersoft.
  • Experience with Atlassian and source control tools: Jira, confluence, git etc.
  • Experience using Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Solid understanding of software standards and best practices including code reviews and pull requests.
  • Ability to analyze, design, and implement software reporting and database solutions.
  • Ability to write high quality, clean, testable code.
  • Willingness to learn and utilize new technologies.
  • Teamwork: Ability to build and sustain cooperative working relationships.
  • Time Management: Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify the information needed to solve problems effectively.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

This job requires approximately 10% domestic travel.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION

This full-time, exempt position is located in Boulder, CO and is open to fully remote within the US. Posted pay range is based upon national average and may vary depending on geographical work location.

Relocation is not available for this position.

PAY

$86400 - 116600 / year
