Overview

Assist with the on-time delivery of merchandise or on-time departure of trucks.

 

Schedule- M-F 4:30AM-12:30PM

Responsibilities

• Key Fast 9, quick orders, and scratches.• Release, VNA, and print picking tickets by warehouse leave time after routing, allocation, and pallet build is complete.• Answer incoming phone calls and direct to appropriate department.• Assist central office in such a way that allows proper workflow to selectors.• Communicate with supervisors on a regular basis with regards to problems and questions • Allocates the workforce based on order flow; assigning spurs and tickets to floors (Mezzanine clerk only)• May be required to perform other tasks as necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.• Must possess a working knowledge of Triceps, Mainframe, and OMNI (Meat Department only).• Must be able to work a flexible schedule if needed.• Must be able to work in all warehouse environments.• Should be a self-starter that needs little direction.• Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to interact well with supervisors and coworkers.• Have a sense of urgency and ability to keep matters confidential.• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing and challenging environment.• Proficient math, problem solving, and organizational skills, as well as phone etiquette.• Data entry, ten key experience, and PC literate with experience in Windows, Word, and Excel.
