Position Description

Kodak's Print Equipment GSS Operations is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in our Dayton, OH facility.

• Hands on position… not supervisory
• Inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers and protective padding
• Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment:

• Compares identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipment to verify information against bills of lading, orders or other records.

• Pulls parts for shipments
• Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons identifying shipping information.
• Assembles wooden or cardboard containers
• Builds wooden crates
• Nails covers on wooden crates and binds containers with metal tape, using strapping machine
• Weighs and processes shipment according to directions on packing list
• Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages and reports to shipping manager to rectify damages and shortages.
• Reference items against bill of material and or blue prints
• Pull parts for staging in assembly
• Experience with UPS, DHL and Fed Ex shipping systems.
• Experience with international shipments
• Operates fork truck 
• Minimum 5 years experience.
