Air Products is hiring a Site Supervisor at our Chandler, AZ location. The Site Supervisor will have broad responsibility supporting the Site Manager. This role will require the candidate to gain an understanding of all aspects of the site's complex operation responsibilities with a specific focus on leadership skills as a front-line supervisor. Initial focus of responsibilities will include supervision of all aspects of the air separation plants, operations team leadership, and record-keeping.
Job Duties
- Basic Safety Process compliance and process safety management.
- Providing environmental, safety, and quality training to the operations team.
- Support of all aspects of the day-to-day operation, including troubleshooting plant process problems, directly supervising daily plant activities, meeting all reporting requirements, and driving plant maintenance and improvement projects.
- Working with the operators and support resources to achieve productivity targets in all areas.
- Identify maintenance concerns, interface with plant maintenance staff, develop and implement corrective or preventative measures.
- Interface with tactical planning and delivery logistics planning to ensure inventory management of the facility’s products.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
- A track record of success on Safety, Environmental, Quality and Employee Involvement.
- Strong plant operating experience in similar plants or operations of similar complexity.
- A strong commitment to employee involvement, team building and diversity.
- A track record in driving continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A self-starter with proven leadership abilities.
- High School Diploma or GED
