As part of a diverse and hardworking team of engineers, you will lead the vehicle level launch vehicle integration efforts for Blue Origin’s Blue Moon Lunar Lander spacecraft. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of spacecraft integration and test by collaborating with cross-disciplinary engineers, technicians, NASA customers, Blue Origin teammates, Lunar Lander National Team partners, and aerospace facility operators across the USA. You will lead the Launch Site Integration effort and will be accountable for developing launch vehicle and spacecraft integration procedures, creating day-of-launch procedures and executing launch rehearsal, ensuring work orders and assembly drawings are complete on schedule, and will act as primary POC with the launch vehicle provider during spacecraft integration with the launch vehicle. You will work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners as part of the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program. You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Transportation system that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth.

Qualifications:

• Experience with launch campaigns of large spacecraft
• Experience integrating payloads onto launch vehicles
• Experience leading a team of engineers
• Familiarity with Range Safety Requirement 91-710
• Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or an equivalent related field
• Typically 8 or more years of experience
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion

Desired:

• Experience on NASA programs and human spaceflight programs
• Experience with Integration and Test campaigns on large spacecraft
• Experience defining, designing, and/or operating spacecraft ground support equipment
• Experience with software tools such as DOORS Next Generation, Jama, Cameo, MATLAB/Simulink, Confluence, JIRA, Git, Creo, and Windchill
