Designs, models, documents, and guides the logical and conceptual relationship of data and database changes for complex applications. Analyzes needs and requirements of existing and proposed systems and develops technical, structural, and organizational specifications. May create standards or do modeling to monitor and enhance capacity and performance.

This position will perform the functions of a Database Administrator and JIRA/Confluence Administration for multiple projects. Candidates must be knowledgeable of database technology, design, development, and administration as well as use and administration of Atlassian Tools (JIRA/Confluence). This is a multi-tasking environment that demands innovation, communication, and organizational skills. Interface with SMEs, Designers, interdisciplinary groups, and IPT leads.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
• Experience with core Microsoft Office applications, primarily MS Access and MS Excel Macros
• Knowledge of database structures.
• Familiarity with database management best practices

Must of have ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

* Experience managing the front-end and back-end database functions and performance
* Strong background in database design and development in MS Access, MySQL, or Oracle
*Knowledge of REST API
Experience with JavaScript * Strong background in Administration of Confluence and JIRA

Ability to work remotely

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Colorado Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $70,500 - $135,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $81,000 - $152,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
