What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. The Senior Associate, Commercial Insights is responsible for delivering strategic insights for various products in Amgen portfolio. This includes market research, providing insights in support of brand planning, opportunity assessment, overall performance tracking.

The individual in this role must have a consulting-type mindset and be willing to solve ambiguous problems.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Perform primary market research to support cross functional teams in making strategic decisions
• Consolidate a variety of data and information into actionable brand opportunities/strategies
• Integrate insights from a variety of sources (PMR, CI, secondary data) to inform material decisions
• Set priorities, develop and manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
• Interpret requests from collaborators and provide quick turnaround on analyses to support any critical business needs
• Work directly with external vendors to prioritize business needs and enable effective implementation of insights

Basic Qualifications:

Master’s degree

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of commercial insights or consulting experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 6 years of commercial insights or consulting experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of commercial insights or consulting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of drug development the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience with primary market research
• Ability to think strategically to support key business decisions
• Ability to work collaboratively in team-based environment across different functional groups
• Excellent presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts and controversial findings clearly to a variety of audiences, including senior management
• Skill in prioritizing multiple responsibilities, priorities, tasks, and projects simultaneously
• Experience with commonly used biopharmaceutical industry datasets and databases

This position will be paid on an hourly basis. The annualized base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $78,215- $110,006
