Sr. IT Property Infrastructure Specialist (Remote)
Job Description Summary
We are currently seeking a Sr. IT Property Infrastructure Specialist – Hardware/Infrastructure to join our JLL Technologies team. This role is responsible for working directly with vendors, technicians, technical and non-technical staff, clients, and transition teams to plan, direct, and coordinate the design, installation, maintenance and network infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of the client’s IT assets. This includes providing overall service delivery for complex business needs including technical project planning, management, and execution for JLL external and internal business clients to ensure alignment with overall business capability needs. All services to be delivered are designed to provide business capabilities in the most efficient and effective way while increasing business margin. You will be managing and involved in all phases of transition delivery of hardware/ infrastructure including strategy, planning, analysis and design, and executing solutions. You will be required to learn and understand processes across the property management business for different asset types e.g. office, multi-family, and retail as part of the transition as well as post-transition/support needs.

What this job involves
As a Sr. IT Property Infrastructure Specialist at JLL Technologies, you will be directly responsible for:
Transition Implementation Support:
Strategize, scoping, plan, analyze requirements, design, and implement hardware/ infrastructure solutions for transitioning property management clients
Manage multiple simultaneous transition projects with multiple priorities
Manage risks by anticipating challenges, managing program prioritizations, making trade-offs, and balancing business needs
Liaison between client and business teams, cross-functional transition teams
Deploy and support hardware/infrastructure items for properties and corporate environments including networks, firewalls, data migrations of SharePoint, OneDrive’s, shared drives, emails, equipment i.e. mobile phones voice-over IP, laptops, copiers, printers, energy management, etc.
Manage communications with stakeholders, business transition team, business, and IT management, locally and globally
Manages projects including but not limited to new client transitions
Provide leadership and direction to the infrastructure transition and support resources
Work with vendors and partners to identify, design, and deliver solutions to meet business needs
Provide advisory/guidance/ guidance to clients regarding IT infrastructure needs
Manage the daily workload and assignments across the infrastructure team as well as perform those activities
Organizational Relationships
Interfaces with clients (both internal and external) across multiple business units, countries, and regions
Works with various IT and business functional areas, including accounting, leasing, cyber security, and transition teams as necessary for transition service delivery.
Works with business leads for technology planning and management.

Education and experience
Required Qualifications
Deep technical background in Windows Servers, Active Directory, Firewalls, Network Hardware including switches & routers, Phone Systems, Printers, Copiers and other network devices, physical security systems
Must have a solid comfort level with ambiguity as well as the ability to exercise good judgment in a rapidly changing and sometimes stressful environment
Customer service focus
Relationship management and communications
Proven ability to navigate in a large matrix organization
Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment meeting multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
Self-motivated, able to set priorities and work autonomously
Knowledge of real estate property management industry
Good command of spoken and written English
Capacity to think creatively, yet pragmatically
Ability to articulate how business issues may impact overall IT architecture and planning
Minimum 6 year of experience managing hardware/infrastructure projects and technology teams
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience managing servers, and networks, with strong understanding of security, storage, data migrations
Experience with vendor and contract management from acquisition to ongoing support
Experience collecting and analyzing technical requirements from project teams to drive engineering and solution delivery
Logical reasoning & analytical thinking
Experience in Commercial Real Estate industry, Facility or Property Management
Experience implementing technical hardware solutions as well as supporting
Excellent communication skills (fluent in English written and spoken)
Good negotiation skills
Ability to motivate and influence highly technical resources
Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving
Excellent time management skills
Expertise in building relationships with technical and business partners
Ability to work reliably and consistently from home – this is a virtual position
IT Hardware/Infrastructure Consulting Experience ideal
Educational Level /Certifications
Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science or related field
Ten (10) years of industry experience required
