Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage advanced network solutions utilizing SD-WAN technology to optimize connectivity and enhance performance across multiple sites.
- Administer and maintain Cisco Meraki infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points, to ensure seamless network operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather network requirements, assess needs, and provide solutions that align with business objectives.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to mitigate downtime and disruptions.
- Lead network upgrades, migrations, and installations, ensuring minimal impact on users and maintaining high availability.
- Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary measures to safeguard network infrastructure against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Manage network policies and access controls, adhering to industry best practices and compliance standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network administrators, assisting in their skill development and growth.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to evaluate new technologies, products, and services that could enhance network capabilities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Network Administrator or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in network administration.
- In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN technology and its practical applications in optimizing network traffic, including hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions.
- Extensive expertise in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Cisco Meraki devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and subnetting.
- Experience with network security practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts and integration with on-premises infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership capabilities to guide junior team members and coordinate projects effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Certifications
· CCNA, CCNP, Meraki certifications
