You will be responsible for providing Supplier Quality Engineering support as a technical expert for electrical standard parts, Counterfeit Part Protection/Prevention Plan (CPP) management, OEM/OCM quality management as well as providing supplier support for control builds, auditing processes/procedures, electrical components, builds and assemblies to multiple Lockheed Martin Aeronautics programs.

Applies quality principles in the areas of design, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products. Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, counterfeit parts prevention/program & compliance, CPP auditing & contract compliance, electrical assembly control builds, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures.

Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements.

Develops strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Travel and work closely with suppliers and government agencies to ensure electronic component selections meet both quality expectations and product performance requirements.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Math, Technology, or Science.
• Experience or familiarity of circuit card and EEE Parts Material manufacturing processes.
• Experience or familiarity with Counterfeit Part Prevention.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS office tools.
• Familiarity with Quality Assurance processes and procedures.

Desired skills

• Certified Quality Engineer.
• Working knowledge of continuous improvement
methods to insure improving supplier quality performance.
• Demonstrated understanding of and experience
performing surveillance as required for Quality applications.
• Project Management training / experience.
• Proven ability to work independently.
• Conflict resolution training /experience.
• Statistical process control (SPC) experience.
• Proficiency with Quality Assurance processes and
procedures.
• Greenbelt / Blackbelt certification.
• Proficiency with SAP.
• Experience delivering presentations to leadership and
customers.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Colorado Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $61,300 - $117,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $70,500 - $132,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
