This position is for an experienced Supply Chain expediting professional. Responsible for implementing solutions and process improvements for shipment and supplier issues to ensure on-time delivery. Ensures Supplier or Commodity is preforming to the designed RTX requirements from delivery, quality and cost. May lead, initiate and/or participate in Supplier Assessments and development activities.

There is a strong preference for this role to be located onsite in Phoenix, AZ, but a hybrid model (typically working 2-4 day onsite) may be considered for an ideal candidate.

Travel expectation would be approximately 25-30% but can fluctuate depending on needs of the business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads projects that supports the resolution of supplier delivery issues.
  • Manages delivery assurance processes and / or works to achieve day-to-day delivery assurance objectives with a world-wide supply base.
  • Implements solutions to issues such as the coordination of shipments, sub-process suppliers and technical assistance to ensure on-time delivery, and to identify root causes that impacts on-time delivery.
  • Implements process improvements and deploys delivery assurance system to ensure early identification of shortages.
  • Collaborates with other departments as necessary with regard to meeting customer requirements, minimizing negative impacts on a business in the case of shortages.
  • Ensures timely delivery of all materials required for the production of assigned complex components.
  • Responsible for overall relationship with one or multiple strategic account across given commodities.
  • Develops program Supplier risk and opportunity management plans.
  • May manage Teams overseeing subcontractors or critical subcontracted systems for all contract types and programs.
  • Tracks and manages Supplier work in process (WIP), promise dating, expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and flow.
  • May oversee command center and drive part shortage resolution.
  • Performs escalated expediting when required.
  • May be a part of the procurement, command center or regional office organizations.

Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Ability to travel up to 25-30% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP, JDE and/or MRP/ERP Systems
  • Experience in Supply Chain Delivery Assurance
  • Experience working with suppliers

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
