Supply Technician

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support DLA Item Managers and help facilitate the SDR process by validating discrepancies through causative research.
- Conduct inventory corrections in conjunction with causative research results i.e., cycle count
- Process customer returns, i.e., validate and inspect all customer returns, clean, fold or repackage gear for return to stock.
- Work and coordinate with onsite DLA Service Solution Specialist as needed
- Review requisitions, supporting documents, and reference material to determine the special supply action required. Provide any special instructions to Distribution Center received on inbound orders or directly from DLA Troop Support.
- Verify that all inbound orders and POs are passed to WMS. Manually loads and processes POs when required. Reconcile inbound orders when required.
- Update Customer information as required, addresses, and POCs.
- Maintain NSN Data Base information SLC and UIIC Codes. Corrects IRM Data Errors.
- Perform Customer Service by answering inquiries from DLA Troop Support or end user.
- Research the status of requisitions (check Oracle, Korber, UPS, and other shipper’s websites to get status) and provide proof of delivery when requested.
- Processes Cancellation Requests and Denied Orders due to lack of available stock at the Distribution Center.
- Prepares and processes Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and other Required Reports.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide return authorizations as needed
- Assisting with lost packages or errors in shipments
- Act as Program Administration Manager when he/she is not available.
- Assist inbound department as needed, i.e., process putaways, receipts, replenishments, and returns.
- Other duties as needed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
- DoD Logistics Experience Preferred
- Previous work with Inventory Control or Warehouse Management preferred.
- Ability to utilize and configure data gathered from a Warehouse Management System.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is preferable.
- Material Handling Equipment (MHE) experience or willingness to be trained to operate MHE.
RELATIONSHIPS & CONTACTS:
- Will have contact with multiple levels within the organization.
- Communicates daily with DoD Customers, DLA Troop Support Supply Specialist, and the Distribution Center.

- Must be comfortable in a warehouse setting.
- Non-climate controlled 50% of day
