Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Engineer for a position in Grand Prairie/Dallas, Texas. You will have the opportunity to be involved in some of Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control’s highly innovative and ingenious solutions to complex technical problems facing the aerospace industry. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies. MFC also offers a wide range of products and services for the global civil nuclear power industry and the military’s green power initiatives, and pursues business in more than 50 countries with more than 50 product and service lines.

The PAC-3 program is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer for the Enhanced Launcher Electronics System (ELES) Launcher Software.

Responsibilities will include:

- Working on the existing and future technical development of this advanced launcher system

- Full Software Development Lifecycle (i.e., understanding and authoring requirements, making modifications to the software architecture/design and software

- Testing of software on real-time embedded equipment)

Basic Qualifications

*Must currently hold a DoD Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position*

- Experience working with embedded software through full software life cycle development

- Experience developing software in C++

- Experience testing on embedded hardware

Desired skills

- Agile life cycle development experience

- Software development in accordance with Mil-Std-882E and/or AMCOMR-385-17

- Experience in testing with hardware in the loop (HWIL)

- Experience developing software in Ada

Ability to work remotely

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Colorado Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $85,900 - $164,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $98,800 - $186,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
