We are seeking a Systems Engineer Solutions Chief to work onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.
Primary Responsibilities:
Successful candidate supports the Solution Chief in decomposing system requirements into work packages (develop epics and features) and coordinate planning with various ART leadership on the planning and execution of work. Additionally, this person coordinates meetings to clearly define the definition of done or scope of the effort during development and ensures execution to meet milestones. This position will be responsible for assisting in building project plans to assure requirements are being met based on resource availability. This person would participate in increment program planning to identify infrastructure project dependencies and need dates to support installation of software and hardware. Travel up to 10%.
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
An active in-scope Top Secret U.S. security clearance is required on day one of employment.
Expert, authority in discipline, applies advanced concepts, theories, and principles and contributes toward the development of new principles and concepts.
Works unusually complex problems with consultative direction; erroneous decisions would normally result in failure to achieve goals critical to major organizational objectives and damage the image of the organization's technological capability.
Advises top management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications; managerial/leadership experience or necessary skills.
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
Prior leadership experience with demonstrated proficiency in software development or program management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experienced in complete program development life cycle to include emerging digital development environments.
Able to excel when information is ambiguous or sparse.
Will function in a product manager role with the ability to process development skills including vision/strategy generation and execution.
Possess the ability to communicate to internal and external customers, leaders, and development teams.
Experience in either/both the DoD Space or Missile Defense sectors as well as agile development processes.

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 236,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
