The Product Manager’s role will be supporting Corporate SG&A functions to provide technology leadership and operational oversight across Accounting, Enterprise Performance Management, Procurement not only for Domestic US but also the International locations, You will be part of the Tech Portfolio Strategy and Architecture team responsible for design and execution of the Technology roadmap that aligns and supports critical business enabling functions of our Cooperative especially supporting the Finance function.
You will be the key resource supporting our Global ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) footprint (SAP modules (FICO, SD, MM/PP) and partner with the Finance team, including Treasury, Corporate M&A, and our Source to Pay team. You will build an in-depth understanding of our business processes related to Order to Cash, Source to Pay including but not limited to Product Costing and identify opportunities where Tech products can drive the function forward for productivity, efficiency, and growth. The role is critical to the overall business strategy and Tech execution and will interface with senior leaders across our business to build a vision and business case for change. Analysis and understanding of external trends and solutions is required to ensure the right products are chosen and developed to match business strategies and requirements.
Position location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA location with Mondays & Fridays remote.
Day to Day Accountabilities:
- Responsible for development and implementation of Functional Tech roadmaps and partner with Business on strategy and Product Roadmap
- Clearly define and articulate process design opportunities, identify current pain points and build and execute compelling and clear cases for change that incorporates People, Process, Technology and Data for all the functions under your purview
- Collaborate with the PMO to develop/evaluate new project requests and business cases, prioritize, select and lead implementation of industry best practices and tools that provide optimal business value and new capabilities.
- Support day-to-day enhancements, configuration and setup changes and maintenance in SAP and supporting systems, Procure to pay (iValua) for both direct and indirect procurement, Financial Close and Reporting setups, Consolidation, Eliminations, Intercompany setups, Grower Finance, Credit Risk and Collections, Treasury to provide efficiencies and support business operational needs, be responsible for end-to-end delivery for any projects, enhancements and support
- Utilize best practices for defining business capabilities, understanding core requirements, and managing vendors for implementation and ongoing support
- Manage Agile Dev/ops POD teamwork and priorities, participate in PI Planning activities
- Accountable and responsible for application software cost management and lifecycle
- Provide end-to-end Solution Architecture expertise in your domain areas, using design thinking, extending existing software (instead of point solutions) to solve complex business problems.
- Create and maintain Business and Systems Reference Architecture diagrams. Collaborate with Tech Dev teams to ensure Integration and Data Flow architectures are created and maintained.
- Collaborate with development and engineering team to define, design and implement integrations, customizations and extensions as needed.
- Working with development team, responsible to ensure that all software, including SAAS are upto date, and patched up to mitigate any risk due to out of support software
- Have an in-depth understanding of domain specific Master data and coaching business through maintaining data integrity and consistency throughout application lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in information technology/Management (Masters level preferred)
- Minimum of 8 years IT experience with 6+ years in management with proven experience of managing a complex portfolio of business applications at enterprise level, ideally in a CPG/Manufacturing business
- 6+ years supporting and leading change across corporate domains, notably Finance ERP (AR, AP, GL, Tax, Treasury, Cash Management, Product Costing, Fixed Assets, Leases) with strong process and change management
- Prior hands-on experience configuring, extending, integrating, maintaining SAP (FICO) is a must
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (Global Finance), Planning & Budgeting solutions (e.g., O9, SAP IBP, OneStream), Financial Accounting Hub is a plus
- Experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement, involving broad-based information systems, utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change
- Experience with leading solution architecture, template design and project planning efforts for complex, global SAP deployments in manufacturing and distribution environment
- Self-motivated with execution-based focus and speed to market with pragmatic approach
- Ability and desire to roll up your sleeves to do all necessary to meet the operational and strategic needs of the business
- Desire to learn new tools and skills including but not limited to RPA, Power BI, AI including a data-driven mindset
- Growth mindset, sense of curiosity and strong problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail, organization, and the highest standards for accuracy and precision
- Demonstrated broad knowledge of major aspects of IT including project management, systems development, systems analysis and design, and budget administration, with broad exposure
