About the Role  


We are seeking a Technical Consultant to join our team! This position is the first role within our Professional Services team where you begin taking on solo tasks to complete within an assigned project.  Our technical consultants receive on the job training that is focused on both best practices and customer success. 


This role is the foundation of what you will need to grow into a true project engineer. This role will provide opportunity to provide white glove service to our clients, while allowing time for dedicated learning with the goal of obtaining certifications that range from professional, basic technical, to advanced. 



Position Description  


  • Research to identify opportunities to standardize and improve a customer’s IT Infrastructure, partnering with the leadership of your team or the Technical Account Manager 
  • Rotational work with transitional support.  
  • Introduction to processing and executing a statement of work.  
  • Imaging Laptops, Servers, and supporting clients with projects including but not limited to Microsoft azure, O365, email migration and server migrations. 
  • Staging Items for installation [ e.g. – Firewalls] 
  • Working alongside your peers on project tasks, learning best practices with Active Directory, Teams/SharePoint Integration, and other software configuration. 
  • Strong focus on enhancing your skill set to develop into subject matter expert to support future growth in the organization.  
  • Assist clients with system and solution migration to validate seamless transition and exemplary service at every touch point.   
  • Following task completion, generating knowledge article creation to support department effort of standard operating playbook.

Professional and Technical Qualifications  

Technical Competencies  

  • 5+ years experience providing end-user support and infrastructure systems management  
  • Microsoft Edge Devices – Install and support Windows 10/11 OS including command line and client support  
  • Microsoft Server – Intermediate to advanced administration of Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and familiarity with Server 2022  
  • Microsoft Active Directory – Creation, management, and support  
  • Group Policy – Policy creation, management and support  
  • PowerShell – Strong experience with scripting and other command-line interfaces preferred  
  • Office 365 / Exchange migration and migration support  
  • Office 365 and Microsoft Office 2013/2016 application management and troubleshooting  
  • Cloud Services – Direct support of cloud services, SaaS, and/or IaaS applications and systems. Experience with Azure or AWS highly desirable  
  • Software – Install and support computer and mobile device software and line of business applications and work with vendor support as needed  
  • Hardware – Install and support physical components of hardware and work with vendor support  
  • Network – Advanced understanding of TCP/IP protocols and various networking devices to include building tunnels for a VPN network and understanding of Firewall NAT configurations.  
  • Firewall – Configuration, installation, management, and troubleshooting. Experience with Cisco and SonicWALL devices highly desirable  
  • Security – Intermediate to advanced configuration and support of common Anti-Virus and Endpoint Threat Detection software. Strong understanding of security threats, security threat and vulnerability remediation.  
  • MFA & SSO – Configuration, management and support  
  • Web Security – Configuration, management and support  
  • Spam Filtering – Configuration, management and support  
  • Backups Systems – Management and support. Experience with Veeam highly desirable  
  • VoIP Services – Basic troubleshooting and support

Our anticipated compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets, and the range below indicates the low end of the lowest-compensated market to the high end of the highest-compensated market.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience. The hiring pay range for this position is anticipated between $55,000 - $75,000 annually.
