The Technical Trainer will be responsible for the maintenance and delivery of the technical training associated with the entire value stream. This role provides technical training to the manufacturing cell processors, aseptic trainers, media technicians, and other value stream manufacturing related functional roles.

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Foster & support a team culture that is engaged and empowered
• Coach, mentor, and train cell processors on the required skills and materials to perform their jobs efficiently, technical courses and on the entire manufacturing process
• Maintain and support the scheduling of technical training activities including all re-quired training for the manufacturing process (e.g. classroom instruction, systems train-ing, etc.)
• Maintain the training program in accordance with business needs, regulatory require-ments, and Quality Management System
• Continuously evaluate and provide improvements to the technical training program
• Assist in the development and / or review developed training materials for technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effectiveness
• Oversee and maintain training equipment, material and training environment
• Demonstrate strong Aseptic Technique
• Support investigations and CAPAs related to manufacturing process within required timelines while ensuring that the training program remains in alignment
• Ensure effective knowledge transfer in relation to technical transfer activities
• Actively align manufacturing processes with technical training and ensure consistent alignment between the processes
• Provide training regarding best practices, technical transfers, and other trainings as needed to the manufacturing, quality, warehouse, support, site management
• Maintain processes to be inspection ready
• Maintain gowning and aseptic process qualifications

This is a PM shift position.
Minimum requirements
• Bachelor's degree
• At least 2 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent
• Direct experience working in a GMP and aseptic or sterile environment
Desirable:
• Advanced degree
• At least 1 year of related pharmaceutical technical training experience preferably in a production, QA, and/or QC related role preferred
• Cell & gene therapy experience highly desired
• Leadership experience highly desired (i.e. team lead, SME, senior technical role, etc.).

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $80,000 and $120,000 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
