YOU
As the Operations Training Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to help our employees develop their skills and knowledge. You will work with managers, supervisors, and leads to develop and implement a training program for production and warehouse employees. In addition, you will provide training support for various products and processes including building a curriculum to provide ongoing training for all positions.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Build, conduct, documents and maintain a training curriculum that services the needs for all production and warehouse departments. This may include tasks such as prepare hard copy training materials such as module summaries, videos, and presentations. Develop monitoring systems to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training. Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement, and monitor employee performance and response to training. (60%)
Work with Branch leaders and subject matter experts to implement and facilitate new hire and current employee training. Work with Human Resources and operations to evaluate and adjust the training processes as needed. (20%)
Collaborate with Branch Training Manager and Plant 1200 leaders to identify training needs and develop content that meets the needs of the business. This includes, but is not limited to, product and industry training, and internal process training. (15%)
Special projects assigned by Plant leadership. (5%)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferred.
3 years of experience in a training position with focus on curriculum development and implementation, preferred.
Industry/Product Knowledge – understanding of manufacturing industry, LMS, job specific training modules, and Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
Knowledge of the latest corporate training techniques.
Excellent presentation skills to present and handle training programs effectively. Ability to teach material to an audience in virtual or in-person settings.
Occasionally prolonged standing/sitting, will be required.

TRAVEL REQUIRED
This job requires 5% domestic travel.

PAY
$66,500 - $86,500/ Annually
