Trade Facilitation Assistant

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensures all invoices related to the product lines are entered promptly
  • Schedule and enter purchases and sales contracts
  • Analyze purchase and sales data and identify problems and opportunities
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly reports
  • Communicate with coworkers, management and company personnel in courteous timely & professional manner
  • Respond to routine correspondence in a timely fashion with vendors and coworkers
  • Maintain a customer / supplier first attitude responding to all business matters in a prompt professional manner
  • Work together with merchandisers and managers to ensure all service work and documentation are accurate and up-to-date
  • Assist with the verification of daily reports with tickets loaded and unloaded into the facility and resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings and completing assignments

  • Ability to work and interact well with others
  • Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task with strong willingness to learn
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word & Excel
  • Ability to work well in team environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast paced environment
  • 10-key data entry skills a plus

Special Demands:

  • Indoor work environment
  • On-call shifts to include occasional overnights and weekends
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time
  • Position requires operation of a computer and other standard office equipment, such as a copy machine, calculator, computer printer, phone up to 90% of the time
  • Frequently communicates with employees and customers in the office and at remote locations
