Principal Accountabilities
- Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility while working in a fast-paced environment around raw meat
- Operating standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, etc.
- Maintaining and monitoring all aspects of the facility’s hot waster sellars unit, chemical delivery systems, Glycol refrigeration system, HVAC systems, air/fire/sewer systems, and high pressure pumps
- Documenting completed work and the conditions found, utilizing maintenance computer software as necessary
- Utilizing and working with maintenance trades and components such as industrial electrical/automation
- Operating forklifts and/or scissor lifts
- Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions in a warm or cool environment, as well as slippery surfaces at varied heights
- Standing for long periods of time, the use of stairs and ladders, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas of the facility

Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
- Basic use of a computer
- Knowledge of mechanical applications as they relate to pumps and pumping systems including chemical feed systems
- Willingness to participate on the Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) team, which includes receiving training and wearing a respirator
- Basic industrial electrical/automation experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Process Safety Management (PSM) experience
- Experience with Sellars units, package boilers, air compressors and/or HVAC
- Project leadership experience
