Plastipak Utility Operators are responsible for the hands-on operation of all downstream equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

You Will

  • Operate automated palletizers, conveyor systems, automated stretch wrappers, and banders to achieve optimal results

  • Monitor production & make adjustments to equipment, as needed

  • Perform a variety of tasks, such as inspect & remove plastic containers with visual defects or packaging products for distribution

  • Grow your knowledge and skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

You Have

  • Able to work overtime, as needed

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

  • Able to use basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.

  • Mechanical, electrical or other technical/machine operation ability. This can be experience gained through paid or unpaid work.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire to be a productive team member

  • Physical requirement includes able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
