Looking for someon already in the Denver, CO area.
Class of trade: Grocery and or Drug (Kroger, Safeway, Albertsons, Publics, SEG, Ahold, and or drug such as Walgreens CVS etc. Should be in the class of trade for 4 plus years.
Product Lines: Sunglasses, reading glasses, (under $25 retail) cell phone accessories, Trial and Travel size items such as shampoos, lotions, Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Personal Care products, clippers, tweezers gloves and barware. Medical consumer products
We are looking for an experienced sales leader with a proven track record of driving rapid revenue growth in CPG channel of business and leading a sales team. This motivated and well-spoken self-starter needs to be a leader of talented people with the self-confidence, integrity, intellect, and work ethic that inspires trust and confidence. You should have a proven track record of past performance successes, and achievements with excellent business development abilities that can attain and surpass stated revenue goals. Ability to make disciplined and sound financial recommendations and accurately forecast sales/business development with a creative winner’s attitude that is totally focused on sales process and results. An excellent listener and communicator with the ability to attract, motivate and retain a high-performance team while holding them accountable. You need to have the ability to articulate strategy, positioning and direction clearly to the sales team and executive suite.
Responsibilities:
- Develop plans and implement strategies for rapid revenue growth and developing business expansion to achieve the Navajo’s sales goals and objectives.
- Have current key contacts in wholesale and retail settings including, supermarkets and drug
- Ability to work with product and technical teams.
- Strong organizational and strategic planning skills.
- Analyzing and providing P & L, status reports with market and customer feedback to the corporate leadership team.
- Demonstrated ability in all aspects of sales leadership.
- Define sales processes that drive sales growth outcomes and identify improvements where and when required.
- Help create a culture of success, ongoing business and goal achievement.
- Oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets.
- Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
- Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions.
- Monitor market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team.
- Work closely with the sales and operations teams to establish successful support, channel and partner programs.
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
- Travel for in-person meetings (approximately 3 days a week 3 times a month) with customers and partners to develop key relationships. Work in Office if not on the road.
