Responsibilities:

·         Operate sit-down/stand-up electric forklifts

·         Load and unload semi-trailers and put product in freezer’s

·         Pick loads and put product on route trucks whiling ensuring accuracy of load by verifying quantity with pick ticket

·         Rotate stock according to FIFO method

·         Pick and deliver call in orders in Valley City, ND and surrounding areas with the use of a company vehicle 

·         Use an Electronic Logging Device to log work/rest periods and miles spent driving

·         Assist Sales & Delivery Agent with inventory guidelines maintaining an accurate inventory in truck and depot.

·         May on occasion be responsible for route deliveries

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Must be able to work in a safe and courteous manner while abiding by Bernatello’s Foods safety policies and procedure and assisting with eliminating and/or controlling safety hazards.
• Must have the ability to work and participate in an environment that expects all employees to support wellness, safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a Class B license, Class A is preferred
