Shaw Industries is looking to hire and train Warper Creelers who will play an important role in the manufacture and distribution of a variety of flooring solutions for our residential and commercial customers. We are looking for individuals who are motivated, interested in learning various skills, and who enjoy problem-solving.
We are currently looking to fill 8hr shift night openings. No prior manufacturing experience is necessary. Training is provided for all entry-level roles.

Position Overview:
Keep creel racks full of yarn and yarn ends spliced together in the designated pattern allowing for efficient run ability of warper.
Responsibilities:
Keep creel racks full of yarn.
Check labels on boxes of yarn and in cones of yarn against work order for quality purposes.
Splice ends of yarn together.
Pack yarn into boxes on cart when set is complete.
Count number of cones in each box and make note of it on packaging label.
Fill packaging label out completely.
Push cart to pack out area.
Relieve operators for break.
Assist in keeping work area clean.
Position Requirements:
Ability to carry out written and oral instructions
Ability to carry up to 25lbs
Must be able to work 8-hour shifts
Must be able to work in a team environment
