Workday HRIS Analyst

Work Location: Remote in Indiana

Must reside within the state of Indiana

Position Description:

This role supports and maintains the Global Human Resource Information System, Workday and is responsible for the development and the maintenance of Workday Reports, Dashboards and Scorecards. Workday modules supported include HCM, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Time Tracking, and other modules as may be required.

Functions, Duties, Tasks:

Process Expertise and Business Partnership

  • Develop, test, and maintain Workday Reports, Dashboards, and Scorecards supporting People Experience strategy and systems.

  • Ensure data is accurately analyzed and interpreted, presenting patterns and trends in a clear, concise manner to business partners.

  • Respond to, manage, and fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests including working with stakeholders to establish requirements, determining if solution already exists/what the right solution is, building required calculated fields, testing report validity.

  • Troubleshoot and solution data mapping/reporting discrepancies.

  • Revise and executes production schedules for routine and specific report requests.

  • Create and maintain EIB Templates.

  • Develop and maintain audit reports to improve data integrity.

  • Answer Tier 2 tickets related to workday data and reporting.

  • Implements security requirements, design, configuration, workflow, testing training, auditing, implementation and administration of Workday basic and advanced security

  • Performs hands-on security group, domain and user security configurations in Workday

  • Problem solves and troubleshoots issues relating to Security Configuration

  • Participate in testing and implementing system upgrades and rollout of new features.

  • Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Understand functional and technical architecture of Workday and related interfaces that serve as data providers.

  • Support SOx audit requests and report creation

Process Governance

  • Assist in the formulation of procedures and best practices for Workday Data and Reporting.

  • Propose, document, and implement new or revised reports/dashboards to improve data integrity and promote the consistent use of HR data and HRIS systems.

Controls

  • Adheres to all company, country, local and other applicable laws, or SOX requirements with respect to data usage and storage.

  • Ensure adherence to process documentation and training materials and meets established SLA (service level agreements) guidelines and goals.

Other

  • Comply with all company local and global policies including legal & privacy frameworks, Code of Conduct, anti-discrimination, harassment, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies.

  • Perform any other duties or serve in such other capacity as may be determined by Company management.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) in HR, Finance, IT or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years experience with Workday Reporting, Dashboard and Calculated Fields is required.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Elanco Animal Health does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this position.

  • Discipline to work with highly confidential information and ability to critically analyze data input/output for accuracy and effectiveness.

Worker Type: Teleworker in Indiana = work remotely within the state of Indiana on a full-time basis, spending less than 10% of their time or one visit/quarter or less at an Elanco office or site.
